MyAdmit was originally developed by Chili Technologies with the goal of matching potential applications with existing students with the goal of facilitating the application review process. This system allowed potential applicants to register and upload their essays for review. Existing students would be matched by school name and could bid on review projects.

The second incarnation of the site is specifically focused on providing webinar streaming videos to prospective students which outlines the complete application process: what to expect, potential pitfalls, etc.
